Leslie Ackman is a self-taught mixed-media artist and blogger from Maryville, Missouri. After taking Brave Girl Melody Ross's "Soul Restoration" class she KNEW she had found her passion in life! Mixing her love of Words with paint, images and glue...Leslie began not only creating for herself but others. She has been teaching Mixed-Media classes at "The Art Experience" in Maryville for 2 years as well as sharing her message and art on-line at her blog Words of Me Project. Soul Canvas"- This class is all about bringing JOY to your home and your heart. We will be answering thought-provoking questions and digging deep within ourselves to excavate words and manta's that speak to us. We will then create a beautiful, heart-filled 11x14 canvas using soul-filled colors, images and words that speak our TRUTHS. You final piece will be the perfect thing to hang in your studios, bedrooms or any sacred place you know it belongs.

"Life's a Beach" planner class-Planning is all the rage at the moment...in this class we will be creating our very own Beach Planner to keep with us throughout the year. Each month has a very special theme along with prompts and ideas to help you become the best YOU possible! My planner is so special to me...I KNOW you will LOVE this class!!

Mixed Media Me"-In this light-hearted class we will be creating one of a kind, silly, fun "girls" using OUR faces!! Filled with bright, bold colors and shapes this class will inspire our creativity!!
