~ Jump Into Your New Year With Creativity & The Robins Nest~

I love color and unique ,fun  and  funky designs,so when I thought about this mixed media project I wanted to add some fun color and design elements. This project started with the In Love Tag Kit from The Robin's Nest and I incorporated the red tags, ribbon, the heart stickers, dew drops, words and embellished with some art items I had on hand. I wanted to show some versatility in using the tag kit... It isn't just for creating tags anymore!!

~Supplies~

Robins Nest Love Tag Kit
 Colorful Doodled Page
Metal key and word stick
Glitter Glue
Puzzle pieces
Paper and epoxy embellishments

I started with a fun colorful page in my journal and added the tag and ribbon and attached a key to the tag..saying "journey". The tag was to then become a pocket for "love Notes".. Especially considering Valentines Day is around the corner... it was a fun addition!
I also had leftover puzzle pieces that I added glitter to beforehand and placed them across the page ... and just as in life, love is always a "puzzle" that we are constantly figuring out!

From there it was just adding in the little extras like stickers, paper and epoxy sayings and highlighting in glitter glue.

Creating is all about thinking" outside of the box",finding new ways to use things and have fun!

The next quick project I did was to create a card using the Baby Boy Card Kit from The Robin's Nest. I designed this as an  all occasion card with matching envelope to again show that card kits from The Robins Nest are very versatile!!

Robins Nest Card Kit "Baby Boy"
Glue
Dried Queen Anne's Lace
Glitter Glue in White and Turquoise
Glimmer Mist in Copper

I had some dried Queen Anne's Lace from the summer and the design on the blue paper in the kit complemented this texture.

To give it a bit more color I added some dark blue acrylic paint to the white card before embellishing and added  the Queen Anne's Lace around the edge of the card gluing down lightly. I then took some glitter glue in white and highlighted the dried flowers around the card.I also added some of the dew drops from the package to add to the center of the flowers in each corner for a burst of color!

So here you have 2 different ways to use The Robins Nest's wonderful products... think outside the box ,be creative and have an amazing fun experience!!
