~Every Now & Then We All Need  a Good "Wine"~

  My husband Russ and I spent a beautiful Sunday visiting the local wineries on Cayuga Lake.I love living in the Finger lakes area of Upstate New York for many reasons ( and winter isn't one of them!!)  One of the gifts of living here is having an abundance of fresh grown  local fruits and vegetables in the summer! But the main product the Finger lakes region is known for is their world class white and red wines with 11 lakes that create the" Finger lakes".. there are many many wineries to choose from to visit! One of   mine and my husbands favorite wineries is Swedish Hill Winery, they were awarded the "Winery of the Year" in 2012! These local wines go up against wines from all over the world and bring home many prestigious awards every year!

It was a beautiful day ,great company and  so much fun! Wineries are such a  big past time here.. people from all over the country come to visit the Finger-lakes for their awesome world class wines!!  If you ever have the opportunity to visit you will fall in love with the Finger-lakes and all  the wonderful attractions, beautiful scenery  and  artisan restaurants !
